Baked Meatballs in Tomato Pasta Sauce
Baked Meatballs made with our Pasta Sauce range and topped with plenty of grated cheese!
INGREDIENTS
1kg pork or beef mince (or a mixture)
1 cup grated mozzarella
½ cup grated parmesan
1 egg
½ jar of Crunch Preserves Pasta Sauce (any flavour)
1 cup grated mozzarella for topping
fresh basil or parsley to serve
INSTRUCTIONS
Pre heat oven to 200°C.
In a large bowl mix together the mince, mozzarella, parmesan and egg. Scoop out large tablespoons of mixture, roll into balls and lay in a single layer in a baking dish. You may need to spray the dish lightly with cooking oil first.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through. Remove from oven and drain any grease. Pour over the pasta sauce and top with mozzarella. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese has melted.
Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve!
